About Me
I’m an artist based in Castlemaine, Central Victoria, born on 15 November 1973 in Coffs Harbour. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art and a Diploma of Art Therapy. A mum to one adult daughter and one gorgeous little bulldog, I live in a tiny home in Central Victoria, where daily life, love, and the natural environment all quietly feed into my practice.
Creating art is a necessity for me — as I often say, my art is “life support.” As a severe C-PTSD and major depression survivor and long-time advocate for the arts and mental health, my process is often messy and sometimes seemingly incoherent, mirroring the chaos of grief, loss, and everyday life. Yet through this rawness, the work becomes a space for healing and reflection.
My practice invites honest, often uncomfortable conversations around grief, loss, and healing. These layered surfaces and immersive compositions offer viewers a place to sit with difficult feelings and to find connection in shared human experience, knowing they are not alone in what they carry.
