Castlemaine Contemporary Art Space
Without Words , 2012
Exhibiting a series of large scale works, executed with nitro cellulose lacquer, traditionally an automobile spray paint, used as a contemporary medium. The result is a highly vibrant shiny surface, where colors intertwine with each other and hold the hue intensity without the muddy over worked look that acrylic alone can create.
This medium demands immediate attention and manipulation as its drying time is only a few minutes.
